The real inventory
Isla Blanca schools exist, but windsurf is smaller than kitesurf. Most operators keep 4–8 boards and 6–10 sails. If you plan a week and want specific rigs, call ahead — some sizes run out.
When to bring your own
- You weigh >90 kg or <55 kg and need rigs outside standard range.
- You ride slalom/race boards not in local inventory.
- You're on a 10+ day trip — airline luggage $100–250 × 2 legs still pays off for regular use.
- You want a specific brand/year (new-tech cambered sails, carbon masts).
