Scuba Diving in Mexico
Reef dives, cenote explorations and discovery programs for first-timers — all led by PADI-certified dive masters. Mexico is home to the second-largest reef in the world and the most extensive underwater cave system on the planet.
We currently dive from Cancun: reef sites, cenote day trips to the Riviera Maya and Discover Scuba Diving programs for beginners. Full certification courses (Open Water, Advanced) available on request.

Do I need to be certified to dive?
For cenote and reef dives, yes — either Open Water or Advanced depending on the site. If you have no certification, our Discover Scuba Diving program lets you dive with an instructor up to 12 meters with zero experience.
How cold is the water?
Cancun and Riviera Maya waters stay between 25-29 °C year round. A 3 mm shorty wetsuit is sufficient most of the year.
What's the difference between reef and cenote diving?
Reef diving is ocean-based, full of color and marine life. Cenote diving is in freshwater sinkholes in the jungle — dramatic light beams, stalactites and crystal-clear visibility up to 100 m.
How long are the dive trips?
Reef dives are usually half-day trips (2 tanks). Cenote trips are full-day excursions including lunch and transportation to the cenotes.
