What makes the Riviera Maya different from Cancun?
The Riviera Maya is the coastline south of Cancun (Puerto Morelos → Tulum). It has fewer hotels, more cenotes, quieter beaches and direct access to the Maya jungle. Ideal for diving, swim-with-turtles and authentic experiences.
Are cenotes safe for beginners?
Yes. Many cenotes have shallow areas perfect for snorkelers. Cavern and cave diving require certifications — our future program will include discovery dives for newcomers and guided tours for certified divers.
Can I combine Riviera Maya with Cancun?
Absolutely. Many of our guests spend a few days in each. We can help you plan a multi-destination itinerary from our Cancun office.
