Three flat-water bays
Médano, Chileno and Santa María offer different vibes — town-front, marine-park, secluded. All have wave-protected zones for SUP.
Calm-water SUP at Médano Beach and the protected Chileno and Santa María coves
Stand-up paddleboarding in Los Cabos works best in three protected spots: Médano Beach right in front of Cabo San Lucas (the longest sandy beach in the area, generally calm), Chileno Bay (clear water, flat morning conditions, fish below your board), and Santa María Bay (smaller horseshoe cove, even calmer, snorkel + paddle combo).
We offer rentals (1–4 hour) with a route map and dry-bag for valuables, lessons with a certified instructor for first-timers, and sunrise sessions (5:30 AM departures from Médano) when the bay is glass-flat and uncrowded. Boards are 10–11 ft all-around or touring shape — beginner-stable but fast enough for experienced paddlers.
Year-round operation. Best wind-free windows are early morning (before 10 AM) and late afternoon in winter (18–25 °C water; 3 mm wetsuit optional). Family-friendly: kids 6+ paddle solo on a stable board with a guide nearby; smaller kids ride tandem with a parent.
Three protected bays, sea-life encounters and reliable mornings.

Chileno and Santa María have such clear water you spot reef fish and rays directly below the board. Often as good as snorkel from the surface.
Médano Beach is glass-calm at sunrise. Easy paddle to El Arco silhouette, almost no boats, dramatic light. The local SUP sweet spot.
Calm, shallow, sandy. Kids 6+ solo on stable boards; younger ones tandem with a parent. Lessons available for total beginners.
We deliver boards to your beach club or hotel beach. Rental rates by hour, half-day or full-day. Dry-bag and paddle leash included.
Water 22–28 °C all year. Cool months (Dec–Feb) need a rashguard for windy afternoons; rest of the year pure swim trunks.
Glass-calm Médano Beach at sunrise. Paddle toward the El Arco silhouette. Coffee + pastries at the end. The local pro's pick.

Yes — Médano Bay morning conditions are perfect for first-timers. A 30-min lesson teaches you stance, paddle stroke, and falling/recovery. Most learners are paddling kneeling within 5 min and standing within 20.
Mornings, mornings, mornings. Before 10 AM the bays are usually flat. By noon thermals can pick up. Sunrise sessions are the sweet spot — flat water, golden light, no boats.
