Rent a 2-pax Sea-Doo wave runner at Marina Yucalpetén, Progreso's protected harbor on the Gulf of Mexico. Unlike the busy Cancún scene, Progreso's shallow and calm north-coast water is forgiving for first-timers while still giving you room to open the throttle — no license required, just a short safety briefing.
Each jet ski carries up to 2 riders. We operate from the marina basin and the Chicxulub–Yucalpetén breakwater zone approved by the harbor master. Tank of fuel, life vests and basic insurance are included. No hidden fuel surcharges or surprise fees.
Rent by the hour (1–4 h) or grab the full day (up to 7 h of riding). Single ride or combine with a coastal boat tour or paddleboard session for a half-day on the water.

Modern 2-pax Sea-Doo units with safety lanyards and self-righting hulls. Top speed up to 55 mph in open water, limited in harbor zones for safety.
Just a valid government-issued ID (passport or driver's license) and the 10-minute pre-ride briefing. Drivers 18+ with ID, or 16+ with a parent on the same ski.
Each jet ski fits 2 riders comfortably. Shared ride costs the same as solo — the price is per unit, not per rider.
Full tank of gasoline, US Coast Guard-approved life vests and whistles handed over before you board. No surcharges at return.
Straight from a floating dock at Marina Yucalpetén — no beach dragging, no queue, no fighting through swimmers. 10 min from downtown Progreso.

Ride year-round. Smoothest water is Apr–Aug when the Gulf stays calm. "Nortes" (cold fronts, Oct–Mar) can bring short-burst winds in the afternoon — we recommend morning slots on those days and will reschedule if the harbor master closes the port.
A 1-hour rental starts at $2,999 MXN (approx. $170 USD) per jet ski, fuel and life vests included. 2 h is $3,999 MXN, 3 h $4,999 MXN, 4 h $5,999 MXN, and the full day (up to 7 h) is $7,500 MXN. Pricing is per unit — shared ride with a second passenger doesn't cost extra.
No license required. Mexican waterways don't require a boating license for jet ski rental. Bring a valid government-issued ID (passport or driver's license) and we'll run a 10-minute safety briefing before you board: throttle, brake, self-righting, harbor-master-approved zones.
Drivers must be 18+ with a valid photo ID. Riders 16–17 can drive with a parent or legal guardian on the same jet ski. Passengers of any age can ride as long as they fit a life vest — kids under 10 must sit with an adult.
Yes — the rate includes a full tank of fuel and basic liability insurance. Life vests, safety lanyard and whistle are handed over before boarding. If you run out of fuel on a full-day rental, we include one extra tank refill at no cost. Collision damage is the renter's responsibility (deductible applies).
The authorized zone runs from the Marina Yucalpetén breakwater east toward the Chicxulub pier, always inside the harbor-master-approved corridor. Shipping lanes, swimming zones and protected flamingo sanctuaries are off-limits. We include a zone map in the pre-ride briefing.
Yes — each Sea-Doo is rated for up to 2 riders. Both wear life vests; the driver holds the throttle, the passenger sits behind and holds the grab-handle. Most couples and friends ride together. Shared ride costs the same as solo.
Full refund or free reschedule if the harbor master closes the port or we cancel for safety. Nortes (Oct–Mar) and tropical storms (Aug–Sep) are the usual triggers. We monitor NOAA forecasts and the local capitán de puerto. If you cancel with 48 h notice we also refund in full.
Our Yucatán team responds within 1 hour. Same-day bookings welcome — call or WhatsApp.
