Cenote freshwater SUP
Casa Cenote and Yax-Kin offer open-cenote freshwater paddling. See fish 30 m below through crystal-clear water. Jungle vibes.
Glass-flat cenote SUP and Caribbean sunrise paddles — two ecosystems, one sport
Paddleboarding in the Riviera Maya offers two completely different experiences on the same trip. Cenote SUP on glass-flat freshwater (Casa Cenote, Yax-Kin) gives you a jungle-and-mangrove paddle with crystal visibility below — sometimes you see fish 30 m down through clear water. Caribbean SUP at Tulum, Akumal or Puerto Aventuras at sunrise (before tour boats arrive) is the more typical SUP experience, but on the most photogenic Caribbean coastline.
We rent boards by the hour, half-day or full-day at Tulum and Akumal beaches, and run guided cenote SUP tours (90 min to 2 h) from Tulum. Boards are 10–11 ft all-around, beginner-stable. Lessons available for first-timers — Caribbean morning conditions are flat and forgiving.
Year-round operation. Caribbean SUP best sunrise to 9 AM when the breeze is light. Cenote SUP runs all day. Family-friendly: kids 8+ paddle solo with vest; smaller kids tandem with a parent.
Cenote SUP doesn't exist anywhere else; Caribbean sunrise SUP under Tulum coast is unmatched.

Tulum and Akumal beaches are quietest 6:00–9:00 AM. Glass-flat water, golden light, no tour boats. The local SUP sweet spot.
Combine cenote freshwater paddling with Caribbean salt-water in one trip. Different vibe, different fish. Unique to the Riviera Maya.
