Sea of Cortez
Deep blue, fish-rich water (Cousteau's “world's aquarium”). Visibility frequently exceeds 30 m. The Pacific side adds dramatic surf and humpback breaching grounds.

Eight live water adventures across the Sea of Cortez, the East Cape and the Pacific dunes — book direct with the operator.
Los Cabos sits at the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez — a body of water Jacques Cousteau called “the world\'s aquarium.” The contrast is unique in Mexico: cactus-lined desert mountains drop straight into deep blue water teeming with marlin, dorado, sea lions and humpback whales (Dec–Apr).
We operate eight live experiences here through a curated network of Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo and East Cape partners: private yacht charters around El Arco, marlin/dorado sport fishing, kitesurfing at Los Barriles, snorkeling at Chileno Bay and Pelican Rock, scuba diving at Cabo Pulmo, paddleboard and waverunner along Médano Beach, and a sunset camel ride along the Pacific dunes.
Best season is October–June (calm seas, low humidity); July–September is hot but quieter. Bookings are direct with the operator — we respond within an hour, confirm rates against current availability, and do not add middleman markup.

Los Cabos is the southern tip of the Baja California Sur peninsula, 1,600 km northwest of Cancún. It refers to two towns — Cabo San Lucas (party / marina hub) and San José del Cabo (quieter, art galleries) — connected by a 30-km tourist corridor of beaches, hotels and golf courses. Los Barriles is on the East Cape, 1 hour north.
Different ocean, different feel. Cancún and Riviera Maya are Caribbean — turquoise water, white sand, reef ecosystems. Los Cabos is Sea of Cortez and Pacific — deep blue water, dramatic desert mountains, big-game fish. If you want cenotes and reef, choose the Caribbean side. If you want sport fishing, kitesurf, whales or El Arco, choose Los Cabos.
The big window is October to June — sunny, dry, calm seas, 22–28 °C water. December to April adds whale watching. November to March is peak kitesurf at Los Barriles. July to September is hottest and least crowded but has higher hurricane risk — book with flexible cancellation.
For sport fishing, scuba diving and kitesurf lessons, yes — these require a captain, divemaster or IKO-certified instructor. Yacht charters are crewed (skipper + crew). Snorkeling, paddleboard and waverunner can be self-guided rentals or guided tours — we offer both.
Most activities depart from Cabo San Lucas Marina, Médano Beach or Puerto Los Cabos. Hotel pickup is included for tours by partner van; for marina-departing trips you take a 5–15 min taxi or Uber. We send precise meeting points and a contact number once your booking is confirmed.
Los Barriles is 1 hour north of San José del Cabo airport (SJD), on the East Cape side. We can arrange ground transfers, or you can rent a car and drive yourself (paved highway). Many kite guests stay in Los Barriles directly; we coordinate accommodation recommendations on request.
Yes — Cabo Pulmo is a 71-km² fully protected marine reserve on the East Cape, 2 hours from Cabo San Lucas. Its biomass has recovered 460 % in 20 years; it is one of very few fully recovered coral reefs on the planet. Sea-lion colonies, large schools of jacks and bull sharks (in season). Day-trips are long but the diving is unmatched in Mexico.
Our captains, divemasters and instructors operate in English and Spanish as standard. French, German and Italian are available on request for yacht charters and private fishing trips — please specify when you book.
We quote against current availability rather than publish fixed prices, because rates vary by season, group size and partner inventory. Send a WhatsApp with your dates and group size — we respond within an hour with confirmed pricing and options. Direct with operator means no middleman markup.
Yes — many guests do both coasts on a multi-leg trip. Domestic flights connect Cancún (CUN) ↔ Los Cabos (SJD) in about 4 h via Mexico City. We can help coordinate activities in both regions and pace the itinerary so you don't double up on similar experiences.
Our team responds within 1 hour. We can build multi-activity itineraries (yacht + fishing + Cabo Pulmo) and coordinate ground transfers across the corridor.
