Yacht Charters in Los Cabos — El Arco, Land's End & Sea of Cortez

A Los Cabos yacht charter takes you straight to the most photographed marine landmark in Mexico: El Arco at Land\'s End, where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez. Half-day, sunset and full-day options leave Cabo San Lucas Marina, glide past Lover\'s Beach, the sea-lion colony at Pelican Rock and the snorkel coves of Santa María and Chileno Bay.

Our partner fleet covers sport boats, cruisers, sailing catamarans and motor yachts from 30 to 100+ feet. Every charter is private and crewed — captain, deckhand, snorkel gear, drinks and (on full-day trips) lunch are included as standard. Bilingual crew (English/Spanish) on every boat.

Best charter window is October to June: calm seas, low humidity, 22–28 °C water. Whale-watching season runs December to April — expect humpback breaches and tail slaps mid-charter. We respond within an hour with a confirmed quote against current availability.

Why charter from Los Cabos

What you only see from a yacht in Los Cabos

El Arco, sea lions and whales are inaccessible from the beach. A charter is the most efficient way to see all three in one trip.

El Arco close-up

Cruise through (when sea conditions allow) and circle the iconic granite arch at the tip of the peninsula. The classic Cabo photo only happens from the water.

Sea-lion colony

Pelican Rock and Land's End host a permanent California sea-lion colony. Hear them bark and watch them sun themselves on the rocks.

Whale watching Dec–Apr

Humpbacks migrate through every winter. Most charters in season produce sightings — captains know the active feeding zones.

Snorkel-friendly bays

Stop at Santa María, Chileno Bay or Pelican Rock for protected snorkeling. Gear and a brief from the crew are included.

Private = no strangers

Every charter is fully private. No shared boats, no fixed itinerary — your group, your music, your speed. Easy to bring kids, grandparents or large groups.

Crew & catering included

Captain, deckhand, snorkel gear, ice chest, water and soft drinks come standard. Premium bar, ceviche, paella or full catering available on request.

Frequently asked questions

Where do charters depart from?

The vast majority depart from Cabo San Lucas Marina (5–15 min taxi from any tourist-corridor hotel). For larger luxury yachts, departures sometimes use Puerto Los Cabos in San José del Cabo. We confirm the exact dock once your booking is finalized.

Can the boat actually go through El Arco?

Sometimes. Passage through the arch depends on tide and swell. When sea state permits, captains take the yacht right through the rock formation — a 60-second photo opportunity. When swell is too big, the boat circles around it (still close enough for great photos).

Are snorkel gear and drinks included?

Yes — masks, snorkels, fins, life vests, ice, water and soft drinks are included on every charter. Premium bar (beer, tequila, mezcal, mixers) and food service (ceviche, paella, lunch boxes) are available as add-ons; we send the menu when you confirm the booking.

Will I see whales?

If you charter December through April, very likely — humpbacks pass through the area and breaching is common. May–June is the tail end of the season; sightings still happen but are less frequent. Outside that window, you won't see humpbacks but might see dolphins, mantas or sea turtles.

Is it kid-friendly?

Yes. All ages are welcome on private charters. Crews are experienced with families and provide kid-size life vests. For very young kids (under 3), morning charters tend to be calmer than afternoon. Sea sickness meds are good to bring just in case.

How does pricing work?

We quote against current availability rather than publishing fixed rates — Los Cabos charter pricing varies a lot by yacht size, season and date. Send a WhatsApp with your group size, dates and preferred yacht size; we respond within an hour with confirmed pricing and 2–3 yacht options.

How early should I book?

For peak season (Dec–Apr) and weekends, 4–8 weeks ahead is safe. Last-minute is sometimes possible but inventory is thin. Off-peak weekdays you can often book 24–72 h ahead.

What's the cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before departure. Closer to the date, cancellation fees apply but we always try to reschedule first. If sea conditions force a captain cancellation, you get a full refund or free reschedule — your call.
