Diving in Los Cabos centers on two world-class destinations. Cabo Pulmo on the East Cape is a 71 km² no-take marine reserve — biomass has recovered 460 % in 20 years, making it one of very few fully recovered coral reefs on the planet. Land\'s End at the tip of Cabo San Lucas hosts a permanent California sea-lion colony.
We dive through PADI- and SDI/TDI-certified partner shops. Cabo San Lucas Bay (Land\'s End, Pelican Rock, Sand Falls) is accessible from the marina (10–15 min boat ride) and suits Open Water divers. Cabo Pulmo requires a 2-hour drive to the East Cape but the dives are unmatched — bull sharks (in season), large schools of jacks, sea-lion colonies, healthy hard corals.

What's the difference vs Cabo San Lucas Bay diving?
Land's End / Pelican Rock: 10-min boat ride from CSL Marina, easier (Open Water OK), sea lions, Sand Falls. Cabo Pulmo: 2-h drive, advanced reef, big schools, bull sharks (Nov–Mar). Many guests do both on a multi-day plan.
What certification do I need?
Open Water for Land's End sites. Advanced Open Water recommended for Cabo Pulmo. Discover Scuba available for non-divers at shallow Land's End sites — counts toward future Open Water certification.
Will I see sea lions?
Very likely on Land's End / Pelican Rock dives — the colony is permanent. They come close, do barrel rolls and bark underwater. The “rules” are no-touch, no-chase, give them space.
When is whale-shark season?
Whale sharks are at Bahía Magdalena (4–6 h drive) Oct–Apr, not in Cabo San Lucas. We can arrange multi-day combos with Cabo Pulmo + whale shark + Cabo diving.
