Progreso is on the northern coast of the Yucatán peninsula, 35 km north of Mérida, on the Gulf of Mexico. It's a 40-minute drive from Mérida city center via the Mérida–Progreso highway. Colectivos (shared vans) run every 15 min from Parque de San Juan.
Very much so. The water is calm, shallow and warm, the vibe is relaxed, and the activities we operate (paddleboard, kayak, yacht charters) are all kid-friendly. Kids 5+ can kayak, 8+ can paddleboard solo, and yacht charters welcome all ages.
